Department of Planning & Community Development

Amount:  $500

Country Action Grant Scheme

Worksafe Club Safety Fund (VCFL Clubs)

Worksafe.gifAmount:  up to $1000
Close:  30th September 2011

The WorkSafe Club Safety Fund has been established to provide financial assistance to football/netball clubs to improve or provide added safety for both players, people involved with the club and the spectators.  Funding is available for safety initiatives, for example; protective equipment, permanent or portable structures that provide shelter, first aid kits, minor facility maintenance for OHS purposes.  For more information visit www.vcfl.com.au.


VCFL Grants Program

Grants available to VCFL clubs for various costs, including:  computer purchases, RSA courses, coaching accreditation, jumper purchase, food handling courses and district inter-league games.  For more information visit www.vcfl.com.au.


Senior Citizens Organisational Support Grants

Closes:  30th September 2011

These grants are part of the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship's Community Grants Program.  They may be used for the following:  running costs (such as rent, lighting, heating, catering, telephone, stationery, postage); purchase or hire of minor office equipment, kitchen or other equipment for group activities, provision of information sessions, seminars or training courses.

Local Sporting Champions

Australian Sports Commission

Amount:  up to $500 individuals, $3000 for teams
Close:  31st October 2011

This program is an Australian Government initiative designed to provide financial assistance for young people aged 12-18, towards the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing, coaching or officiating at an official national sporting organisation (NSO), endorsed State or national sporting competition or a school sport Australia national championship.  For more information visit www.ausport.gov.au or click here.


Sportscover Sponsorship Fund (SSF)
